Coolpad launched its new flagship handset “Coolpad Max” for Rs. 24999


Coolpad launched its new flagship handset “Coolpad Max” in the India markets. This handset is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 octa core processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. The handset price at Rs. 24,999.


The Max is powered by snapdragon 617 64 bit 1.52GHz octa core processor (MSM8952) coupled with Adreno 405 GPU. This is a dual SIM handset with hybrid slot. This handset is coming with Android 5.1.1 out of the box with a good 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage space. Screen is 5.5 inches with 2.5D curved glass and supporting 1920 x 1080p resolution with gorilla glass 4 protection.

Coolpad Max have a 13MP camera on the rear with dual tone LED flash and a 5MP camera at the front. This handset can shoot FHD videos. OTG is supported and there is LED notifications. Apart from common sensors (accelerometer, light, proximity) the handset is also loaded with Gyro and Magnetic.


The handset have a touch based fingerprint sensors. Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS and WiFi. There are no dedicated navigation button (on screen buttons will be available). This massive set is getting power from 2800 mAh battery with fast charging capabilitie.

Dual in One tag stands for Dual Space technology that has been incorporated on this handset. It gives users the ability to separate their professional and personal data, in facet users can have two accounts on Facebook, Whatsapp etc. that was not possible on other phones.

The handset will be available on Amazon for Rs. 24,999 from 30th May.
