The fast growing Xiaomi is expected to release of the Redmi Note 2 on August 13.
Xiaomi has already confirmed that it would introduce a new version of its custom Android operating system, MIUI, on August 13. Given its predilection towards launching new OS versions alongside new devices, there’s been a lot of talk about Xiaomi launching a new phone next week.
The yet to be unveiled Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime with 2GB RAM as of now is listed on Amazon.in. Xiaomi has yet to officially announce the same but it has already been listed with specifications, without the price tag.
The specifications of the Xiaomi Redmi 2 Prime is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 410 MSM8916 quad core (64 bit) processor with Adreno 306 GPU. It sports a 4.7 inch fully laminated screen (IPS) with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
A separate leak originating from Chinese retailer JD.com suggests the Redmi Note 2 will be available from August 16.
